at Assiniboine Park. My Uncle Luke and my Mom were diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when they were
five and twelve years old...and my cousin Charlie has been taking insulin for almost 3 years. Charlie and
family members raised $3400 in pledges for the event. I mostly walked with my Mom and my cousin Keona.
Most of Charlie's teammates from his Manitoba Stallions hockey team also came to walk with us that day!"
