"During 'Spring Break', me and my family spent the week at our cabin in Grindstone
Provincial Park
. We were sensible about social-distancing and washing our hands as much as possible
that week because of COVID-19 so that we could best enjoy each other and some of our cottage friends."

"One night we cooked and ate the pickerel that Dave and Linda, our Keedian Drive
neighbours, had caught and given us after they spent the previous week at our cottage."

"On Monday, March 30, my Grandpa Wayne drove out to Grindstone Provincial Park to bring some munchies,
back ribs and Tim Horton's donuts...and to enjoy an hour of coffee and conversation on that beautiful afternoon!"




("My Mom made, cooked and served perogies with the back ribs a few days later.")

"On March 31st, our Mom took me and my brothers ice-fishing with a few
cottage friends. Almost everyone that went that afternoon caught their limits!"










("Oops...I forgot to mention that one of our friends caught a pickerel
that measured 29 inches, thus qualifying for Manitoba's Master Angler Award!")

"My Granny Norrie drove out to Grindstone Provincial Park to spend time
with us for a couple of days...and to enjoy home-made scones for breakfast!"

"A few days of abnormally warm, sunny weather didn't last long.
