"I decided to play the euphonium in Band class at John Henderson Junior High. These are
pictures of my first band concert on January 23rd at the North Kildonan Mennonite Brethren Church."



( The euphonium is a large, conical-bore, baritone-voiced brass wind instrument that derives its name
from the Ancient Greek word 'euphonos', meaning "well-sounding" or "sweet-voiced". It is pitched in C
or B, an octave below the trumpet...and is the leading instrument in the tenor-bass range in military bands. )
