"On August 15th, Grandpa Wayne took me, Charlie and James fishing on the Red River
near Selkirk, MB, from 2:30 to 8:30 pm. Fishing was 'slow', but me and Charlie were very
excited to catch a few small Walleyes and Freshwater Drums ('silver bass'). As you can see
by the picture, James was not quite as excited...he did not have the good fortune of catching
his first-ever fish. Other highlights of the day included making a fire to cook our Smores...and
watching the escapades of the snapping turtle that kept appearing up and down the shoreline."
