"As soon as I got to Grandpa's apartment, I gave him a card for his "21st" birthday
that has a recording of me saying 'I love you, Grandpa Wayne' whenever he opens it.
Then I read some books, helped Grandpa with his laundry, and relaxed and watched T.V."
"Later we played 'hide-in-seek' and had a few races in the hallway before
going to visit his friends Jody and Mike, and their sons Kyler and Cameron."
"After playing for a long time in the backyard with
Kyler, I went inside to read with Mike and to have supper."
"After supper we ate some of the cake that Grandpa and I brought for dessert. Later, we went
into the livingroom and played or read books until Grandpa and I drove back to his apartment."
"When we got back to Grandpa's apartment I played with my
new 'walking stick' that Grandpa gave me, and then I went to sleep."
"In the morning I played with my toys and had breakfast."
"After breakfast Grandpa read to me, and I read to 'Bear' and 'John'."
"Then I put my 'walking stick' beside Grandpa's walking stick that one
of his students gave him in June because my Mom came to take me home."
