"These are pictures that my Grandpa Wayne took when he came to play with me while
my Mom was unpacking boxes, sorting clothes and putting up shelves in our new house."

"After I finished spilling the cup of water that Grandpa gave me, we went outside to walk for awhile.
Initially Grandpa pulled me around, but after about 8 minutes he said he was tired...so I got my jacket
and lawnmower toy and walked myself. When we walk Grandpa is always asking me 'Where's the birdie?'.
I don't know what "birdie" he's talking about, so I just point to the sky or treetops so he would quit asking!"

"We walked for about another 11 minutes, then Grandpa said he was tired again, so we drove to Tim Horton's.
Grandpa likes to talk alot, so while we sat and ate a few donuts he told me stories about him fishing and playing
baseball...I pretended to be interested. After what seemed to be 2 hours of story-telling, I did a bit of sightseeing.
There were many older-looking people like Grandpa Wayne in Tim Horton's, but I didn't see any bottles of Ensure.
Before we left, Grandpa had to go to the bathroom, again, and in the bathroom he took a picture of the two of us.
I guess Grandpa doesn't know how to take a 'selfie' because he took a picture of the mirror while we looked at it."

"When we left Tim Horton's Grandpa drove around town looking for a playground. Finally he pulled up
to some people in a grocery store parking lot and asked them where we could find a playground. They gave
him directions and he drove to a park with playstructures...which turned out to be at the end of my street!"

"After I played with/on all the structures, we went back to my house where I had supper (pablum in a squeeze bag
and some crackers...Grandpa doesn't like to cook) and watched part of a movie. Later, I went into my backyard and
played with my favourite doll and my cat Fizz for awhile before going back inside. Grandpa then read me a story (he
actually kind of sang it) before putting me to bed. Me and my Grandpa Wayne spent over 5 hours together that day!"
