"On May 27th and 28th Dad took William to Grindstone Provincial Park to do some walleye fishing.
They fished for three hours on Sunday (2:30 to 5:30 pm) on our friend's lakefront shoreline before
moving out of the strong winds to try their luck at the 'small beach'. At 7:30 pm Dad took Will back
to our cabin because Will was getting tired. Dad then went back to the lakefront shoreline and in the
in the next hour and a half managed to catch five walleyes...the last walleye measuring 28 inches!"

"Dad and Will got up early Monday morning and were fishing on the lakefront shoreline by 7:30 am!
In the next five hours they caught seven fish (Will four, Dad three) before starting to pack up to go
back home...but they were having so much fun fishing that they agreed to stay another half an hour."

"Will decided to try casting, so Dad gave him a red and white Canadian Wiggler that had been
collecting dust in his tackle box for 40 years...and within 15 minutes of casting off the dock Will
got a strike and hollered 'Grandpa, I got a trophy', so Dad rushed over to help him bring it in! Sure
enough, the walleye that Will had caught also measured 28 inches like Dad's...but Dad said it seemed
to be about two pounds heavier than his. They found out later that both of their 28-inch walleyes would
have qualified for Master Angler awards, but they didn't take pictures of them beside a measuring tape."
