"When William was told that he would be playing for Team Manitoba U-18 in the Canada Cup
football tournament in Kelowna, BC, he was pretty excited, to say the least! Equally excited
were Cory, Sharla and Grandpa Bill, who decided to go to the tournament! William flew and
stayed with his team and coaches that week at the University of British Columbia, Okanangan
Campus...while Cory, Sharla and Bill flew separately and stayed in a full-basement Airbnb suite.
If Will had not been selected to play, Sharla and Cory would have flown to Kelowna regardless,
using this trip instead to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary taking place on August 10th!"
